Welcome to Migdale Water Mill

Migdale Water Mill is a listed mid-18th century, restored oatmeal mill situated in a beautiful wooded setting about a mile and a half from Bonar Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. The mill offers first class self-catering accommodation with easy access to one of the world's finest golf courses (Royal Dornoch), historic towns, areas of outstanding natural beauty and excellent restaurants.  Migdale Mill is only 15 minutes drive from Dornoch and Tain and an hour from Inverness Airport).

The mill has been completely renovated to a high standard by local craftsmen, and retains many of the original mill features.  Local natural materials including Scottish oak, Douglas fir and Caithness slate have been used in the renovation.

There is a large sitting room, a conservatory/dining room and a spacious kitchen with eating area.  There are 3 double bedded rooms with en-suite and 2 twin bedded rooms with a shared bathroom. There is a large garden with ample parking, the mill stream is just 5 metres away from the mill.
